Shaping the future of Voluntary Norfolk

Voluntary Norfolk is launching a major consultation with our partners, communities, and service users as we review our purpose and the support we provide to people and communities across Norfolk.

As part of this process, we want to hear from you!
Take part in our consultation and help shape the future of Voluntary Norfolk.

We know that the challenges people and communities face today aren’t the same as they were 10 years ago. That’s why we want to make sure our work continues to meet local needs.

To do this, we’re carrying out research to understand what’s working well, what might be missing, and what people really need from us going forward.

We’re asking two key groups to share their views:

  • VCSE organisations across Norfolk, to tell us about their experiences and insights

  • Service users, to tell us what support matters most to them

What will we do with this feedback?

Your feedback will play a vital role in helping us refresh our purpose and ensure that our services, partnerships, and resources are aligned with the challenges facing communities today.

This isn’t about changing who we are or what we stand for. Having been in existence for over 50 years we’re lucky to be building on strong foundations. However we recognise we need to keep evolving to make sure we remain relevant and effective in supporting communities for the next decade and beyond.

To support this work, we’re partnering with an independent research agency to explore perceptions of Voluntary Norfolk and the wider community support landscape. Together, we’ll identify the needs, gaps, and opportunities that will help shape the future of our work.

Once the research is complete, we’ll share the findings with our stakeholders, including VCSE organisations across Norfolk. We hope this will contribute to a shared understanding of community needs and opportunities across the county — and help the whole sector reflect on how we can adapt to meet those needs together.

How you can help shape Voluntary Norfolk’s future…

If you’re part of a VCSE organisation or community group, we’d love your input. The surveys will remain open until Friday 21 November.
