Additional support for charities and community groups during Covid-19
Community Action Norfolk, Norfolk Community Foundation, Voluntary Norfolk and Momentum are working with Norfolk County Council, the district councils, health providers and other VCSE organisations to deliver a coordinated response to Covid-19 which includes centralised points to request help, seek funding and to register volunteers.

The Voluntary Norfolk Network
The Voluntary Norfolk Network is a way for groups to connect with us and each other, and to share ideas, skills and resources. Joining the Network is free and groups are able to access networking and good practice events, training workshops and receive resources and information to support your organisation. Voluntary Norfolk, Momentum and Community Action Norfolk are funded by Norfolk County Council to work together to support the VCSE sector. Our regular, subject specific, e-newsletters for people working and volunteering in the VCSE sector include Sector News, Funding News, Jobs News, Events News, Training News, Volunteering Opportunities and Youth Work Network News. You can subscribe to just one newsletter or as many as you wish and it is easy to unsubscribe at any time.
We can help your organisation recruit volunteers by advertising your volunteer roles on our portal and featuring opportunities in our Volunteer Newsletter which reaches over 3,000 potential volunteers in the county. Visit our Volunteer Recruitment page for more info.
We can support your organisation with the management of your volunteers, providing advice, guidance and template policies on issues such as recruiting, inducting and training volunteers, DBS checks as well as specific advice around safe volunteering during Covid-19. Voluntary Norfolk and other infrastructure organisations are working with the Norfolk and Waveney Health and Care Partnership to develop a Voluntary Sector Health and Social Care Assembly to provide a forum for voluntary and community sector groups, large and small, to play a greater role in the future design & delivery of health and social care services. Business Support Services
Voluntary Norfolk’s trading arm, CBR Business Solutions provides HR consultancy, DBS checks and Payroll & Auto Enrolment services to small and large charities and SMEs. We can also advertise your job vacancies on our JobsBoard, which specialises in VCSE sector employment opportunities. Through our partnership with Community Action Suffolk, we can also help your organisation arrange insurance and IT support.
