VCSE Conference 2020 – Survive, Drive and Thrive!

Our Norfolk VCSE Annual Conference is going virtual this year with a free programme of events under the theme of “Survive, Drive and Thrive”.

Between Mon 23rd and Fri 27th November 2020 Community Action Norfolk, Voluntary Norfolk, and Momentum (Norfolk), under our “Working Together” banner, will be delivering a series of free sessions across a range of topics, including panel interviews, webinars and social media activity.

Our themes are supporting VCSE organisations to survive the challenges we are currently facing and drive forward the changes we want to see, so that we can thrive as organisations and communities.

‘We always look forward to our annual VCSE Conference which is a chance to get together, to share ideas and to hear from industry experts.’ says Voluntary Norfolk Head of Infrastructure Lucy Hogg.  ‘Although it is a disappointment not to be able to meet physically, we will still be able to achieve all those things with an online conference and, for some people, it will be easier to join in and take part.

‘Covid has drawn attention to the vital work of volunteers and the voluntary sector in supporting people in our communities, and has also exposed some of the vulnerabilities of the sector, particularly regarding funding.  These will, no doubt, be recurring themes throughout the conference and we hope as many people join us as possible, to share their experiences and to hear what the future might hold for our sector.’
