There are hundreds of volunteer opportunities throughout Norfolk and Voluntary Norfolk can help you find the volunteering role that is right for you, that fits your interests, skills, location and availability. There are 2 ways you can apply for or search for volunteering roles
1. Volunteer roles within Voluntary Norfolk
Voluntary Norfolk works with the NHS, Norfolk County Council and Norfolk’s district and borough Councils to recruit and deploy volunteers to a wide variety of roles, including support for carers and the people they care for, volunteer drivers, admin support and stock room roles in hospitals and GP surgeries, marshals at Covid vaccination centres, digital inclusion volunteers and befriending volunteers. What unites all our volunteers is a dedication to supporting the NHS and improving the lives of vulnerable and isolated people in Norfolk.
If you would like a general chat about the volunteering opportunities available at Voluntary Norfolk, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and give us your preferred telephone contact details. Someone from our recruitment team will phone you to tell you all about the different opportunities we have available and how best to apply.
2. Volunteer roles with other charities or voluntary groups
Voluntary Norfolk and over 200 other local charities advertise their volunteering roles on the Norfolk volunteering portal Simply Connect and it is easy to search the portal for a role that is right for you, whether you are interested in conservation or campaigning, computers or community work, working in a charity shop or a food bank.
Once you have registered your contact details, you can search the portal for a role that interests you and register your interest. The organisation advertising the role will then contact you directly.
