‘Step Into Work with Confidence’ course planned

Working alongside Norfolk County Council’s Adult Learning team, Voluntary Norfolk’s Employment and Skills service are putting on a two week free training course entitled: ‘Step into Work with Confidence’. The course explores any worries and anxieties people may have around returning to work and aims to help them get back on track and feel more positive about themselves again.

The course will run on 12th and 19th July from 11am to 1:30pm on both days.

The course will be relaxed and informal and ideal for people who feel want to build on their confidence in a small group setting. Some of the themes covered include:

  • Exploring feelings and worries about returning to the workplace
  • Defining personal priorities on the journey back to work
  • Identifying positive and negative belief systems
  • Finding out the things participants are good at, their skills and experiences

Upon completion of the ‘Step into Work with Confidence’ course, participants will be guided onto opportunities to take the next steps in securing employment or changing career paths.

The course will be taught by an experienced tutor within an informal and friendly group setting.  We encourage learner involvement and if there are elements of the course that you would like to explore your tutor will be willing to support and provide further information.

The course is free to anyone aged 19+. For further information please click here. If you have any questions, please email us here: employment@voluntarynorfolk.org.uk
