Where to Find Us During Volunteers’ Week 2019

Another year has passed and the biggest week celebrating volunteering and all the work volunteers do in their communities is back! We are going to be out and about, sharing with you all the different volunteering opportunities you can take part in, so come round a have a chat.

Volunteers’ Week Events 1st-7th June 2019

Monday 3 June, Volunteering Information Session

9-11am, Great Yarmouth Job Centre and 12-2pm, Great Yarmouth Library
Come and talk to Laurra Holland, our Volunteer Training Coordinator and Jessica Pratt, Volunteer Coordinator who can answer any and all your questions about volunteering. Laura and Jess can help you find volunteering opportunities that suit your interests and availability and can also tell you about our Volunteering in the Community course taking place at Great Yarmouth Library on 17th and 18th June. All are welcome!

Thursday 6 June, Drop-in Event

10am-3pm, Anglia Square, Norwich
Volunteering is a great way to feel part of your neighbourhood and helps people and communities to be more connected, reducing social isolation and loneliness. Come and meet members of our Better Together team to have a cuppa and a chat, find out about the benefits of volunteering and take part in some giant Jenga!
