Successful fundraising webinar held

Earlier this week Momentum, which is part of Voluntary Norfolk put on a successful webinar about how charities and other organisations in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector working with young people, could improve their fundraising.

The event was subsidised with money from Norfolk County Council Children’s Services. The webinar was targeted at small to medium charities working with young people, who were most likely to benefit from the information provided.

Simon Pickering from Dot-to-Dot put on the training. The purpose was to give people a taster of the ‘fundraising strategy in a box’ training session which Voluntary Norfolk will be running on 8th February. This will again be led by Simon Pickering. This week’s course gave people a chance to ‘meet’ him and find out if the February course was suitable for them.

More information about the course in February can be found here.

Individuals who attended the course found it very helpful with one participant feeding back the following:

“Very useful stats and tips. This is my first job in charity fundraising, so it really helped to solidify some of my knowledge and give me ideas”
