Statement on the death of Her Majesty The Queen
The staff and trustees of Voluntary Norfolk offer our sympathy and best wishes to members of the Royal Family following the death of Her Majesty The Queen yesterday.
Her Majesty’s tireless dedication to duty and service throughout her life has inspired so many and is a legacy, which will continue to live on in the charities and volunteers who continue to dedicate their efforts to changing lives and enhancing communities across the UK and around the world.
Our thoughts are also with all the many charities with whom The Queen was associated, and with the myriad organisations, communities, and individuals whose lives she touched across the globe and more locally here in Norfolk. We know The Queen, her late husband Prince Philip and their family spent long and happy periods of residence in our county and we know the people of Norfolk will hold a special place for Her Majesty in their hearts.
