New Website and Portal

We are delighted to announce that our new website has launched!

Our website, funded through a grant from the Cabinet Office Local Sustainability Fund, reflects our renewed ambition to deliver high quality services to volunteers and communities, and work in partnership with the voluntary and statutory sector.

With the support of the LSF grant we have been able to invest into our website and Volunteer Portal to provide a more modern, interactive and mobile friendly interface and a more effective volunteer recruitment platform.

Volunteer Connect, our new volunteer platform, provides a valuable resource for communities and individuals who want to help others by giving their time and talents for the benefit of the local community

Volunteer Connect is an online self-serve platform that enables organisations that work with volunteers to manage their recruitment more effectively; and for volunteers looking to get involved in their communities it provides the opportunity to register, directly contact organisations looking to recruit volunteers and join a Volunteer Bank.

By building a Volunteer Bank of local people willing to volunteer and be contacted by local organisations’ seeking volunteers we can start to mobilize a local volunteering force to be reckoned with!

Volunteer Connect is supported by a voluntary sector provider, Voluntary Action Sheffield, and has been developed and co-designed by Volunteer Centres across the country.

We will be running drop in events in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Cromer – come along and find out more!
