Making the most of Simply Connect, our Volunteering Portal

Simply Connect, our Volunteering Portal is one of the simplest ways for charities and voluntary groups in Norfolk to advertise their roles to a wide audience of potential volunteers.  Over 200 organisations currently use the Portal to advertise their roles and over 2,500 people are registered on the Portal, looking for suitable volunteering opportunities.

Our Volunteer Centre has organised two online workshops to help organisations make the most of what the Portal has to offer and how it can help you find the right volunteer for your roles.

The workshops will take place via Zoom on:

Thursday 21st January from 11.00am – 12.00pm

and

Tuesday 23rd February from 2.00pm – 3.00pm

with each workshop covering:

  • Putting roles on the portal
  • Closing roles
  • The Volunteer Bank and how it works
  • Messaging volunteers
  • Any questions participants may have

In order to make the sessions as useful as possible and to make sure we can provide individual support and advice, we have limited the number of people attending each session to 6.  Please email us to book a place on one of the sessions,. And if you would like to join a session, but neither of these dates is suitable for you, please let us know and we will try and arrange additional sessions.
