We can help you find volunteering opportunities that match your interests, whether you are keen on arts, heritage, the environment, working with animals, would like to serve as a charity trustee or have a specific interest in mental health or helping an individual in your community; we help you to make a positive difference.
You can find out about local opportunities to volunteer by searching our database.
- Keep in mind the type of volunteering you would like to do; this will help to match you with specific roles
- Think about your own skills, talents and interests; your profile will be matched to volunteering roles; the more detail you give in your profile the more this will help to match you to relevant roles
- Think about how much time you you are able to give; you may want to volunteer regularly, or just give a couple of hours now and then.
When you have found a volunteering opportunity role that interests you, you will be asked to Register your Interest. It only takes a few minutes to register and once you are registered you can express interest in other opportunities, join the ‘Volunteer Bank’ and receive information on new and exciting opportunities.
If you have any questions about volunteering, applying for roles or registering on the Volunteer, please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator Jess Pratt.
You can also Sign Up to our Volunteering Newsletter for news about latest opportunities and great case studies showing how volunteering really does make a difference to our communities.
