Introduction to Finance

This three session course will tell you everything you need to know
about finance for your group – from reading a balance sheet right
through to having the confidence to prepare your own. Will
be useful for staff, trustees, treasurers and anyone wanting to know
more. Presented by Phil Goddard, Director of Finance for Break –
Norfolk’s largest local charity and treasurer and trustee of a
local group.
Network lunch

Volunteers and the Law

This course covers the main areas of concern for organisations who
use volunteers. Topics include recent and forthcoming changes in the
law, including the new Independent Safeguarding Authority.
This course will be presented by Mark Restall, co-author of the Good
Practice Guide, the leading volunteer management handbook.
