Trustees’ Week 2023 is happening from Monday 6th to Friday 10th November. It is an annual week of celebration and thanks to the nearly one million trustees across the UK. As an organisation that supports the VCSE sector, Voluntary Norfolk is encouraging people to take time to celebrate the achievements of trustees. Thank you for the time, commitment and effort you bring to your charities to help them thrive.

This year’s theme

This year’s theme for Trustees’ Week is: “Many voices. Working together. With purpose.” We know the VCSE sector makes a huge and positive impact on society and dedicated themselves to an enormous variety of good causes. This year Trustees’ Week is celebrating the individual talents, viewpoints and experiences each trustee brings to their board and their collective decision making and how diversity can help make a charity stronger. It is important to remember that there is a wealth of guidance and support that VCSE groups can draw on, to survive and thrive. Voluntary Norfolk is involved in providing some of this support as a lead partner in the Empowering Communities Partnership.
