Norwich Skills Exchange Forum

The Norwich Skills Exchange Forum, commissioned by Norwich City Council, is connecting businesses and employees with community groups in need of upskilling, advice and support.

This skills exchange means that the whole community benefits - from both the knowledge and expertise of businesses, and the dedication and time of local people.

There are already many workplaces in Norwich who give their time to help grow the sustainability and resilience of local community groups. We want to encourage this even more by effectively and efficiently matching businesses with meaningful volunteering opportunities. 

For Businesses

Could you run a free skills-based workshop for the voluntary sector? The Skills Exchange Forum will use our networking channels and links with the community to identify the groups that would most benefit from your particular knowledge- base and skills.

Do you already have an employee volunteering programme? The Skills Exchange Forum can match you to areas and groups in need of your particular skills.

The activities will be facilitated by Voluntary Norfolk, and if appropriate, we may refer you to partner organisations who work with businesses.

Some of the benefits of pro bono activities are:
