How we can help you

"Voluntary Norfolk does fantastic work by providing support and training to both individual volunteers and third sector organisations across the County" - Norman Lamb, Member of Parliament for North Norfolk.

When we were first established in 1969 (as Norwich Organisation for Active Help, or NOAH), our emphasis was very much on finding volunteers who wanted to help elderly and vulnerable people in the community by undertaking practical tasks.

Forty years on, volunteering is still at the heart of all that we do but these days our volunteers get up to much more than gardening and decorating (important as these tasks are) while Voluntary Norfolk itself has grown into a major support and development organisation that assists voluntary and community organisations by offering a range of free and paid-for services, and by providing a voice for those groups within key partnerships in the county.

Individuals can volunteer, find a job in the charity sector, come to an event, become an individual member of Voluntary Norfolk or participate in a training session.

Organisations can become a member of Voluntary Norfolk, book one of our meeting and training rooms, access our range of back office services, contact our Development Team or examine our training options.
