How we can help you
"Voluntary Norfolk does fantastic work by providing support and training to both individual volunteers and third sector organisations across the County" - Norman Lamb, Member of Parliament for North Norfolk.
When we were established in 1969 (as Norwich Organisation for Active Help, or NOAH), our emphasis was on finding volunteers who wanted to help elderly and vulnerable people in the community by undertaking practical tasks.
Today, volunteering is still at the heart of all that we do but now our volunteers get up to much more than gardening and decorating (important as these tasks are) while Voluntary Norfolk itself has grown into a major support and development organisation that assists voluntary and community organisations by offering a range of free and paid-for services, and by providing a voice for those groups within key partnerships in the county.
Organisations can become a member of Voluntary Norfolk, book one of our meeting and training rooms, access our range of back office services, contact our Development Team or access our training options.
