In Kind Direct is a registered charity that redistributes surplus goods from manufacturers and retailers to charities across the UK working at home and abroad.

On average a charity will have saved more than £9,000 in a year through using In Kind Direct's services.

All of the products In Kind Direct distributes are new, usable and high quality. They become available often because they are surplus to requirements or have small defects in the packaging or branding. Charities use the products to run their services and help beneficiaries.

Further one in three charities say that using In Kind Direct has enabled them to reach beneficiaries that they would otherwise not be able to reach, and 80% of charities say ordering from In Kind Direct allows them to source goods and supplies that they woud never be able to afford otherwise.

In Kind Direct was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1996 and is one of The Prince’s Charities, which is the largest multi-cause charitable enterprise in the United Kingdom.

Since 1996 In Kind Direct has redistributed over £130 million in value of goods from 875 companies. To date almost 6,000 voluntary and community organisations have received products from In Kind Direct, helping millions of people in need.
