Whether you are a new group or a long-established charity, membership of Voluntary Norfolk gives you exclusive weekly email news bulletins, regular newsletters, access to information, expertise and guidance from specialist staff, discounts on room bookings and a range of back office services, and a voice that can represent your interests at important local and national meetings.

We have been supporting volunteers and voluntary organisations for over 40 years and we know that you are at the heart of life in Norfolk: together we will make sure you stay there.

Membership Types

We have three membership types: 

Full members are registered charities, and other voluntary and community groups including faith groups, that have clearly defined aims, purpose or mission statements; exist for the benefit of the community; are based in, or provide services within Norfolk. Depending on their income, groups can be full members of Voluntary Norfolk for as little as 39 pence a week.

Affiliate members are organisations that wish to support Voluntary Norfolk and the work of the sector across the county but which do not qualify for full membership. Examples include public sector organisations, private companies, partnership bodies and other statutory agencies.

Individual members are those people who wish to support us on their own without being representatives of any organisation. This category is for anyone interested in the voluntary sector or the work of Voluntary Norfolk. (You do not have to be a member to become a volunteer.)

Free for members:

Members’ News Extra e-bulletin, Voluntary Norfolk News newsletter, suitable articles in e-bulletins, advertise volunteer positions on website 

Discounted for members:

DBS check/Photo ID badge service, Meeting and Training Room hire, vacancies advertised on website
